On a hilltop, the highest point on this road, there is a place called Piket Nol. There were a number of bamboo huts to rest.

According to the surrounding community, it is called Piket Nol since the Dutch colonial era, there is a transport vehicle checkpoint crops and forests in the place.

Loads of vehicles inspected and drawn retribution. However, every time there's inspection by the Dutch government officials, officers picket duty at the post that never existed. So, come as Piket Nol.

  After sufficient rest, the journey can be continued down the hill. It took three hours to reach Malang and about two hours to Lumajang.
