Java Leopard
 Java Leopard or in Latin is called Panthera pardus weld into the last remaining big cat on the island of Java after the extinction of the Javan Tiger. Leopard Java (Java Leopard) is one of nine subspecies of Leopard (Panthera pardus) in the world which is a species endemic to the island of Java. These protected rare animals into animal identity of West Java province.
Java Leopard (Panthera pardus weld) are included in the conservation status of "Critically Endangered" has two variations of light-colored leopard and black leopard commonly called the Tiger Beetle. Although the color is different, the two big cats are the same subspecies.

Java Leopard are carnivorous animals that prey on prey such as deer, long-tailed monkey, wild boar, deer and Javan gibbons, porcupines Java, surili and ebony black. This big cat is also able to drag and carry the prey into the tree which sometimes exceeds the weight of prey body size. This behavior is in addition to avoid loss of prey to the hunted, it is also for storage of food supplies.
Although life in the wild has not been known but in captivity, leopards can live up to 21-23. Leopards living in a territorial (space) in the range 5-15 km2. Are solitary, but at certain times such as in pairs and childcare, leopards can live in groups. Male leopard will roam looking for a partner in their respective territories, where each region is marked with scratches on a log, urine or feces.
Leopards females generally have more or less 2-6 children born with tails every pregnancy is more or less 110 days. Becoming an adult at age 3-4 years. Leopard child will remain with their mother until the age of 18-24 months. In the pattern of parenting, sometimes a male leopard helpful in terms of child care.

Java Leopard populations are scattered in different areas such as the National Park (TN), Ujung Kulon, TN. Halimun Mount Salak, TN. Mount Gede, Pekalongan Petungkriyono Protected Forest, and TN. Meru Betiri East Java.

 Java and Bali Tiger Tiger has now lived only blemish. Are we willing, if Leopard Java, which became the last remaining big cat on the island of Java this bandwagon extinct and only leave "tutulnya" simply because we are less concerned?.
